Kellyann Conway
Kellyann Conway is currently the Director of Animal Training and Behavior for Animal Planet Pet Video (APPV) & Petfinder. She also is the head writer for creative content for the APPV team, as well as over seeing an active pet training blog on AnimalPlanet.com.

She began animal training in 1986 and teaches using reward based training methods to attain a strong desire for achievement from both the pet and pet parent. Kellyann is currently the President of the Association of Pet Dog Trainers (APDT) and she also advises the APDT's Member Relations & Communications Committee. She was appointed to the Board of Directors for The Companion Animal Sciences Institute four years ago. Additionally, she is a clinical member of the International Association of Animal Behavior Consultants and has achieved the designation of Certified Animal Behavior Consultant.
Kellyann was among the very first trainers in the country to pass the Council for Certified Pet Dog Trainers test that was first offered in 2001. In 2007 Kellyann was co-winner of the Outstanding Trainer of the Year Award which was presented at the Westminster Dog Show. She holds a BA in Sociology and continues to pursue continuing education programs all throughout the year. Kellyann shares her home with her fiancée, their beautiful daughter and 3 dogs, Gazoo – a Border Collie Mix, Nemo – a Pit Mix and young Jasper a PBGV.
